Qoobo ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy
explains how we handle your information when you use our expense tracking application.
Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or process any of your personal data on our servers.
All data you enter into Qoobo, including:
- Expense and earning records
- Transaction amounts and descriptions
- Categories and tags
- Any other financial information
...is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
iCloud Sync
Qoobo uses Apple's CloudKit service to sync your data across your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac)
that are signed in to the same iCloud account.
- Your data is transmitted directly between your devices and Apple's iCloud servers
- We do not have access to, cannot view, and do not store your iCloud data
- Apple's iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy apply to this synced data
- You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device settings
Currency Exchange Rates
The app includes currency conversion features that use exchange rates:
- Exchange rates are embedded in the app and updated with app releases
- No personal financial data is transmitted when converting between currencies
- Currency conversions happen entirely on your device
Third-Party Services
Qoobo does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share your
information with any third parties because we never have access to it in the first place.
Data Security
- Your financial data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch
ID)
- iCloud synced data is encrypted using Apple's encryption standards
- We have no backend servers, databases, or infrastructure that could be compromised
Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Access: All your data is accessible directly within the app
- Deletion: You can delete individual entries or use the "Reset Data" feature to delete all data
- Export: Your data remains in standard formats on your device
- Portability: Your data syncs across your Apple devices via iCloud
Children's Privacy
Qoobo does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
The app is designed to work entirely on-device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Providing notice within the app (if significant changes occur)
